What are invalid clicks?

All clicks on C|ON|TEXT ads must result from genuine visitor interest and any method that artificially generates clicks is strictly prohibited.

Invalid clicks are ad clicks that may artificially increase an advertiser's costs or a publisher's earnings, and for which we decide not to charge the advertiser. This includes, but is not limited to, clicks generated by a publisher clicking on his own ads, a publisher encouraging clicks on his ads, automated clicking tools or traffic sources, robots, or other means of generating clicks not resulting from genuine visitor interest.

We actively monitor sites in C|ON|TEXT to check for continued compliance with our policies. If we find sites that do not comply with our policies, we will suspend or terminate the accounts. In some cases, payment for clicks may be refused.
