What is cost per click?

Cost per click is the highest amount that you are willing to pay for a click on your ad. When C|ON|TEXT determines which ads are likely candidates to be shown on a page, they are ranked by combining several factors: ad relevance, campaign quality, cost per click and daily budget. Increasing cost per click is one of the methods to improve the position of your ads.

Cost per click is actually the maximum price you are willing to pay for a click that brings the visitor to your site. At times you will pay even less, as C|ON|TEXT determines the actual price based on a competition your campaign is facing for placement on a specific page.

Cost per click is set for entire campaign. You cannot set a different cost per click for different keywords within a single campaign.

When creating or editing a campaign, C|ON|TEXT will help you select realistic cost per click amount. You will be able to see estimated rank for each of the campaign keywords for a certain cost per click.

Using C|ON|TEXT control center, you can measure the effectiveness of your campaigns and react instantly if you think your campaigns are not getting as much exposure as you would like. Network coverage value will tell you how your campaign is doing compared to competing campaigns. If the coverage is low, one of the easiest and quickest ways to increase it is changing campaign cost per click amount.
